That was a very sad and childish remark from a married man. I do not think what I wrote was incorrect in anyway. Not sure what you expect forum members to do here -spoon feed you with information? The ONLY reason I replied is because, if you noticed, NO ONE even bothered to post a reply to such a si...

Sorry but I am going to be quite harsh with your query. The forum does not exist to answer your question without YOU YOURSELF doing a bit of work and checking the market. You have 5 yrs experience in IT so you must have heard of GOOGLE. Please google, look around a little and then ask questions with...

You dont 'literally' need the NI number if you have proof that you have applied for one. So come here, start the NI process and you will have proof you will be getting it in 8 weeks or so. Employers understand NI takes time so need affirmation that you have applied for it thats all Also note that by...

A Tier 2 binds you to a specific company and you can legally work ONLY for the company that sponsored your Tier 2 - whether its volunteering, profit or non-profit has no bearing. I maybe incorrect here but do check the legality of the matter first before going down the route of registering a company...

Re: HSMP Earnings

I have heard that employee ( in computer field) whoever is working on HSMP ( Tier 0-1 ) Visa is earning 300-500 pounds daily. I just want to confirm if it is really fake or truth. Sachin, I guess you are REALLY new to the UK and just starting out and hence the question - if not, then its really qui...

Re: Business development jobs

How difficult it is to find jobs in Business Development in IT/Engg Services with an experience of 6 yrs? Any references will be helpful. Its not an easy market to penetrate but then its Sales and experience sure will count. That said, the IT Bus Dev area is usually dominated by locals as language ...

aah, the folly of our times - I once read somewhere there is a stiff competition between rates meant for House Keepers and the IT community - that's how many of us are there today pecking away at anything we can get!!!!

I guess you are generalising PM as a role. If it manageing project without any specialised business expertise which is planning, scheduling, communicating, presentation and updating gantt chart then I would expect that. But PM role has changed from last few year to more speciliased role in which he...

The PM market is quite saturated at the moment unfortunately. There has been an influx of experienced PMs with a lot of well documented UK based experience that are trying for contract roles as well as perm positions. One big chunk of IT groups to be made redundant, and every time actually when spen...

Wunder and Desperado are right and I wont argue because my advice was purely from an IT Services view in the Telecoms and Media world and I cannot vouch for any other area of work unfortunately. Re: Interview dress code

Tough choice Samsung and not a nice place to be in really. 6 months at £500 a day will pay you not less than £66k which is far far more than £50k. Add to that once 6 months are over and if you dont get a job for 2/3 months it's still fine as the contract alone gave you a lot of surplus cash. Your...
