I recommend you to kindly visit your local VFS Global office. I am sure they can help you and from them you can easily find out what does 'D' mean.otherwise simply call on 08040084008 (VFS Bangalore based contact centre) between 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays.

so I want to withdraw the fixed deposits b4 leaving since I have mentioned on Fixed deposit letter that I will encash it at any given point of time i mean the funds can be readily availed by the depositor on demand......next is what?
