Naturalisation Certificate

I got my approval in August, took the oath on 7 October and posted my yellow form on 12 October. After more than 7 weeks I still haven't received my Naturalisation Certificate... How long does it typically take? Having browsed previous posts, I thought it should take about 5 weeks, but maybe things ...

Luaspassenger, i don't think that you need your GNIB card. Just approval letter, yellow sheet and your ID (passport). no birth certs are needed. It will just take a few minutes. you can fill in the form before your court appointment, but make sure NOT to sign it until you are being watched by the j...

Finally! I received my letter of approval this morning - in a plain brown envelope (not registered post) - after waiting more than 40 months! Timeline: Apr 2006 - Applied after 5 years on work authorization visa Sep 2008 - Additional docs requested (P21, marriage affidavit, etc.) Feb 2009 - Waiting ...

Yeah, what's up with Mar/Apr '06 applications?

I applied in April '06. In May '09 I was told that my application was ready to be sent to the minister, and that it should take 4-6 weeks.

Still waiting... so frustrating!

I started calling at 10:00 on the dot and got through within 5 mins. But then waited for about 20 mins for an operator. Very nice lady, crosschecked my details and confirmed that everything from external agencies are back and looks good. File is now ready to be sent to Minister for approval this we...
