full time work for sponsorship

I would like to sponsor my parents on a visit to the UK but I am confused as to whether i should show full time or part time employment status. Is it ok if I show that I am working part time and show the required funds. How many hours make up full time and part time work according to UK standards.

the border agency is playing with you.. in my case they counted it backwards and i was refused my visa when my funds dropped by 2 pounds on one day after i completed the 90 days period.. Clearly, they are just trying to find a way to refuse you.. Go for the tribunal and you should win it..

it's quite clear what sush has said.. all i can say is that file for the AR anyway.. it's free and u have been given an option for it.. you could say that u filed another application after it was rejected on 10/03/09 within the stipulated period of 28 days which is the time given for you to leave th...

You should have done your application within 10 days which is the standard time given for an appeal to be filed.. How could anyone refuse an application without going through the particulars. They accepted your application, found that you overstayed and then rejected it.. plain and simple.. sorry ab...

i guess i was wrong and an appeal period is 28 days from the date of refusal.. Source of this information? When a right of appeal is given, then an appeal must be filed: 1. within 5 days when applicant is in detention, 2. within 10 days in all other cases where appeal must be filed in-country. 3. w...

what did the refusal letter received on 10/3/09 say. Did it specifically say that you need to leave the country or did it give you the right to reapply. did it say that you have 28 days to make a new application?

you wouldn't need a covering letter.. just give all the details on the application letter for a admin review.. there is sufficient space on that sheet.. check the rules if it says anywhere that you can reapply rather than go for an appeal.. i think it is there somewhere.. i just cant find it.. can y...

The student visa for a course should be the duration of the course + 4 months. If you haven't been granted that period of time, then you can apply for an extension on your visa.

The bank statement should be within one month of the date of application..
for eg: if the last day on your bank statement is 5th march, then you should apply within the 5th of April.. To be on the safe side, apply within 28 days..
