My husband got the spouse visa yesterday. We're just over the moon...this forum has been invaluable and i especially thank Batley Khan...Praise the Lord.

Just wanted to know...are bank statements the only way to show readily available cash?
I mean is it ok to just show wage slips if you've started a new job 2 months ago (without depositing the money into your account?)

I don't know anyone who got their visa in a month. My husband will apply for a spouse visa (from Delhi) in a couple of months. And i'll update you guys on how its going...

hi paracetamol,

What it means is that 8% of the applications got their decision in 5 days. The thing is, we don't know whether its a refusal or a success..so you must bear that in mind.

Actually i feel its important to mention the entry on 10th and exit on 11th jan as my original e-ticket was from 10th-15th...and the ECO might question why i came back early...
