So I sent my Set(O) application on the 12th July - it is now the 26th, 3 weeks after and I have yet to receive acknowledgement or any money taken. Hello kind people. How long can I have been outside of the Uk and still be okay to get my ILR (after 5 years being here)? How do you calculate the absent days? Do I count the day I left and day I arrived? eg: 23rd to the 26th of may - is that 4 days absent, or 2 because I was in the country on the d...

Also if I apply for a premium service, do i get my biometrics taken when i go in for the appointment?

Biometric Residence Permit - what the...?

Hello all,

I am applying for ILR with SET(O) form in July after being on the path of HSMP 07 Tier1 09.

Do I apply and get Biometric Residence Permit before I send my application in July 2012? Or am I going to have to do that after I get ILR?

Please help, I am so confused.

Much thanks,
