Yes, you have misunderstood :) This is just bad formatting on UKBA website - you only need to send passport(s). The last bit only applies to "If your passport is not stamped when you come into the United Kingdom because you". You will be better off reading official PDF guide from here - it...

Greenwich - yes, but it will be quite expensive
North Greenwich - no on family living (it is similar to East London really), yes on direct commute

P.S. Just to clarify things - North Greenwich is not in Greenwich, we are talking about two completely separate areas

When are you going to apply? Tier 4 rules will change soon (most likely from April) and it is not clear what the new rules will be - but it is highly likely that under new rules your fiancée won't be able to work in UK; and you won't be able to stay in UK after the completion of your studies. There...

No.

Ownership of property in UK does not affect anything - regardless of it, you will need to pass usual immigration routes (work or study or marriage) to live UK.

Re: child born in 2005 to 1 parent with ilr

can someone please clarify for me if our son can apply for a british passport straight away and bypass the mn1 form Of course not. You cannot apply for passport without applying (and getting) citizenship first. If you have never registered your child as British citizen before, then your child is no...

Thanks wunder! Let me rephrase...in order of priority it is 2-3-4-1-5. Any suggestions? I think parts of South East (areas near the railway lines that pass Greenwich or Lewisham stations - where you can change to DLR and get to Canary Wharf relatively easily) or places like Romford in North East. I...

No, you are not giving a good advice. There are all indications that information about extensions will be released by mid-February in the latest - so there will be plenty of time to prepare if the information will be negative (which is highly unlikely anyway!). If there will be no news by March, the...

Your criteria are exclusive...

If you want easy commute to Canary Wharf, you will have to live in East London - but that means that your criterias 2 and 3 won't be met.

If you want 2 and 3 - then forget about 1 and 4.

considering they only announced that Tier 1 INITIAL applications were closing 48 hours before they actually did close them back in December. It would not surprise me if they did the same thing in late March. ie give us short notice, 1st April and closing on 5th April. Otherwise they would have alre...

You are a "business visitor", not a "businessperson".
Can I switch into another category while I am in the UK as a business visitor?

You are not allowed to change into any category for which permission to come under the points- based system is needed.

In this case go to a lawyer or accountant and get photocopies certified (you'll find that NCS is usually cheaper ).

If you are applying for British passport - you will have to send the original. i don`t want send my passport to the ukba for personal reason...

More information please!
Do you have ILR? What is your immigration status?

Generally, it is a problem that you were away for a year - it effectively resets your clock for citizenship.
