Spouse - Visitor Visa?

Thanks very much for the clarification. I was just thinking of another option. Instead of waiting till April this year, are we able to apply for a Visitor Visa for my wife so that she can be here for 6 months at the end of which we could apply for the dependant visa? This is what I happened to learn...

Spouse Visa - Financial Requirement > 18,600

Thanks. While I understand that (My Gross Salary + Dividends) = 9600 + 9000 = 18600 would be ideal to make an application, my dividends are not paid out yet and it could take up to April this year before they are paid out. If we want to make an application earlier and not wait till April'13, I was w...

Spouse Visa - Financial Requirement > 18,600

Hi, In the Financial Requirements Section 7. This is referred to as Category D. See section 7 of th...

How did you make the payment?

Hi

When you applied for the surrender certificate , what was the method of payment of £90.00?

Can we make the payment as British Postal Order? or Cheque or cash?

It would be helpful if you could provide me with this information.

Thanks

Benefits

Hi

I know that if I am made redundant, till the time I get a new job, I can apply for:

- Employment seeking benefits

Can someone guide me if I am able to claim any benefits for my housing and living?

It would help if someone can guide me around how to sign up to these benefits.

Thanks

Unemployment Benefits | British Citizen

Hi

As a British Citizen, am I able to claim employment seekers benefits if I am out of job?

Example: If I am made redundant next month, am I able to claim benefits straight away? If yes, can someone explain what is the procedure for claiming benefits?

Thanks

Raj I called the switch board number and they have provided me with this information: They have asked me to call only after 2:15 to one of the following numbers: 02076323072 / 02076323074 Alternatively they have asked me to call 02076323071 which is supposed to be an officers number. I shall give it...

Phone numbers for OCI - HCI London

Raj

The number ending 3152 rings and after that it takes to a beep sound which you would receive while dialling a fax.

The number ending 3153 says that the person you are calling does not subscribe to this service.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi I made an OCI application a week ago and forgot to attach the relevant fee of £165 for one adult. Can you please let me know how to go about fixing this? Thanks Hamed. Probably thats the last resort in my case as well. But given that I have lived in 4 different places shared accomodations in the last 3 years, and never had any tenancy agreement as such except for one place, I might have to track down the landlords to see if I can arrange for a tenanc...

Nah, I didn't show too many addresses. I kept it simple.

Just the:

- Passport application form
- Naturalisation certificate &
- Covering letter

Thats it !

It is clear from tech's message that if you are on the public register paying council tax, water electricity etc, you are on the system. Having a mortgage / Credit card doesn't mean that your credit check would come back with all the details required. Hence, it is my understanding that as long as yo...

By the looks of it, you have an employer. In this case, it should be fairly straight forward if you provide a letter from your employer covering the 3 years. In my case, I have got my own limited company. So I am going to try if my accountant can provide me with that letter and the most important th...

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I had asked my banks both Barclays and HSBC. They are not willing to provide a letter with all these details. They are only willing to provide us with a Status enquiry letter.

Hi I made an application for my British Passport after I naturalised on the 7th September. After 2 weeks, I have now received a letter from the Passport office asking for the following: Has anyone out there received a letter like this and how to go about it? I see that not everyone is receiving this...
