No, they don't. The passport has a refusal stamp from a previous application and these two stamps are exactly like that refusal stamp.

My husband withdrew his family permit application from the same embassy a couple of times because on both ocassions they took more than 4 weeks to process. We just simply rang the embassy and they asked us to pick the passport the next day!! Although now the passport has two stamps from the embassy.

Can we demand a code 1A stamp that is valid for upto 6 months? And is code 1A only valid for single entry?

We did apply for family permit twice during the last two years but both times we had to withdraw the application because of the time (more than 30 days) they were taking!! If we manage to get to a UK airport, do you think we will get another Code 1A stamp? Can they not issue family permit at the air...
