Re: Non-VWP to VWP US visit after nationality change to UK

Similar situation but 2015 now, my wife was traveling with British passport but didn't take her Indian passport that had the valid US visa. The US immigration officers in Dublin questioned her a bit and asked her to travel with the old Indian passport with US visa the next time !! They said they are...

letter format

A lot of people are asking for employer letter format. However, I cannot share as situation for every person is different.

I have already provided the bullets around which the letter must be prepared.

Sorry, I can't share the letter that I used.

useful stats, everybody can log these FOI requests for their own week or maybe even that particular day. But I believe it has to be generic and not your specific case for it to be considered as FOI http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/122226/response/300253/attach/html/2/FOI%2023469Patelreply010812...

Thanks ryan2020 for your update. I am looking for someone who got the ILR rejection/approval on the day of appointment itself?

Do you know of any such case or can I assume that all >90 days cases will always go to deferred mode?

Any Recent success>90 days absence@PEO appointment day?

Hi All, I have gone through many threads but still not able to find any recent success with >90 days absence at a single stretch for OFFICIAL trips (not medical/compassionate grounds) and ILR approved on the very day of the appointment. Actually due to my work involving extensive travel, I cannot ri...

DVLA is saying they can't even accept passport if the valid visa is in BRP, so sending BRP is the only option

similar situation

I also recently received by Tier-1 extension which is valid from 12-Jun. Whereas my prevoius visa expired on 11-May. There is a gap of one month.

Do I need to get any additional documents while applying for ILR?

WP

Hi nnj10

When work permits were being issued (earlier name for Tier2-ICT), there used to be a authorization document.

That document has a date of 11-Apr-07. Based on that document visa was stamped in the passport having a start date of 11-May-07.

So which one should I consider as the EC date?

Switching from Tier-1 to Tier-2 while in the UK

Hi All, This is a hypothetical situation due to ever changing UKBA rules. Currently I am on Tieri-1 but for my extension if I am not eligible let'say becaue of my salary (took a salary cut), in such a case if my employer has to move me to Tier-2, will it be considered as Tier-2 ICT or Tier-2 General...

I know of a few people who have received 35 points for PGD. Therefore, i am confused on the algorithm that UKBA follows.
