what are you trying to say highstool hero?

that a stamp 4 LTR is not exempt from business permission?
you have stamp 4 LTR for five years and you set up your own business and you have to let INIS know about this andafter that they gave you trouble?

stamp 4 for five years looks like long term residency 2009 - 2014.

This kind of stamp 4 can set up own business.

If you get stamp 4 (long term residency) you can do business. the stamp 4 that you have to wait for nearly 2 years approval not the new stamp 4 for 1 year validity. this bit taken from the inis website "the Stamp 4 permission(1 year stamp 4) does not include a right of self-employment or busine...

but i LTR you have to wait 22 months to be free . New rule means people with more than 5 years residency here have freedom to move to any employment now. but ah... when will this actually happen?

is anyone know somebody or heard a story
an application got denied after 2 or 3 years waiting( accepted and processed) be it citizenship or LTR because residency stamps not enough after INIS final stage check?

Musta kabayan! its better getting a return ticket, there are some Americans being sent back because they have one way ticket.

There is a travel agency in Middle Abbey St. sometimes they can arrange for a cheap return Philippine ticket.

In the end its cheaper to get a two way ticket.

but I remember immigrantone's case, hes been asked for addional docs July 2009 and only after 2 weeks he got his approval. I dont know how they do it in LTR but most of my friends who got theirs like a year ago, has to wait for their approval nearly 2 months after additional docs have been asked. - ...

Hi I just received a letter from INIS and they said my application for ltr Jan 2008 is under process.... we will contact you... They didnt ask me for any additional documents. is this for real? I didnt receive any letter from INIS yet . but 500 euros... wow. I applied Jan 2008, if I got approved this November? they will charge me 500 yoyos? I have to renew my stamp 1 this September for 150 Euros.. then if approved, I have to pay 500 Euros plus 150 Euros for the GNIB stamp...
