Hi all got my Nat Cert today registered post, went straight to Garda Stn
passport application and photos signed

going for passport express...

Im now officially been Irished!! :D

good luck to the rest waiting... there are many people per week getting approved so your time will come.

I think she can work because on her passport it should say permitted with no time limit or no condition as to time... is that right? so it means shes a permanent resident not a dependent. when working employers will look for stamp 4 or stamp 5 so shes good to work or do business thats it mate. know ...

In my opinion Irish Citizenship is like a draw but it'd not like the lotto which is nearly impossible. as long as you have ref number and DOJ confirms you have applied just wait for it and avoid trouble. [ All they need is reports from various departments and once they have that, then they would compile them into a file and present to the minister. Reasons could be not getting the reports from departments. For example, if you have multiple addresses then it could potentially delay in the processing...
