Re: Renewing Passport and Changing Name

To apply for new passport, I guess they will need all of the documents and proofs as they did in India? Check the guidance. Secondly, can we get Indian passport based on UK address when we are not UK Nationals (only resident)? It is the applicant's choice whether he/she wishes to have a UK address ...

Re: Renewing Passport and Changing Name

Hi, My Indian Passport is due to expire in next few months. My wife's passport is due to expire in next one year. We don't have each other's names on our passports as spouse and she still has her maiden name on passport. I have read all the requirements on VFS and this forum with some really helpful...

Tier2 and Labour Market Test

Hi, I have given an interview and have been selected. As I required Tier2 visa (and the advert was out for 13 days only), I needed to go through the LMT. The manager advised that they will post it out for rest of the days soon. But, I have seen the same post advertised again on the day of my intervi...

Re: Tier2 Salary Requirement and Employer's Flexibility

If you leave the UK and your current visa expires you will have a one year cooling off period before you can return. That'll not be a good idea then. Can I work in my wife's company where she provides contractors to other businesses. I can buy 10% shares and can work as a limited company contractor...

Hi all, I have been offered an ITPM role in NHS where the salary is £30,764 and HCAS is £6,152 which totals £36,916 where the minimum requirement for an experienced ITPM is £40,000. Re: Tier 2 General - Dependent (Traveling during switch)

Thank you so much. I checked on UKBA and it's £600 for dependent but the fee details have been changed and have become confusing so if anyone can reconfirm the required funding to show for a Tier2 General dependent visa, will be a great help.

Kind regards

Re: Tier 2 General - Dependent (Traveling during switch)

Thank you for your help. You are trying to say that once I obtain the new visa with new CoS, her visa (which is currently valid until end of October this year) will become invalid and she will have to apply for a new visa to return? If this is the case, could you please guide me on the following the...
