Can i make an appointment online without a confirmation letter from them saying that i can make an appointment?

my question is can i apply for ilr before my 5 year qualifying period if my grandfather was born in scotland

i know you can if the grandparent was born in ireland...

be very carefull at the boarder control. i know of examples where they have taken away a person's ilr because it was given to them by mistake.
this is a typical question that a ukba will ask.....(routine)

on what basis did you get your ilr?? then what.....

Does anybody know if there is a body out there currently fighting for our rights and an application to overturn this ruling.......Similar to the HSMP JR I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN AND ADD MY SUPPORT It is highly unfair that the ukba give us a 4 year visa, then afterwards change it to 5 years. which forces...

Congrats to all those with 4 year HSMP Visas.

Does anybody know if the UKBA will extend this to the old 4year UK Ancestry Visa that was granted prior to April 2006?

I would think that those with 4 year ancestry visas can apply the same argument to those that had 4 year hsmp visas....
