mate, post study Tier 1 visa is ok to apply for Schengen visa. If you do not have work, show some evidence that connects you to UK, bank account statement with decent money or rent contract or something else..

Guys, one thing you are missing here is location in UK. Living costs is quite different for different cities...30K in London is different from 30K in Manchester and so forth.

the biggest challenge for foreigner to enter sales field is communication skills. No matter how good you are in sales, if you do not have fluent communicating skills (which includes British accent), I think it will not be easy. It is not like programming job at all.

Yes, it is standard reply from the visa office (or agent). Whether you have got permit or not, the reply is same. Unless you open the envelope and see it, you do know by any way. No one on phone will say you you have got visa, or have not visa. So better to go and collect it and see.

Thanks a lot mhkhan. By the time my wife will apply for visa, my duration of UK stay will also be over 12 months. I think in that case we need even more less fund to show. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks once again.

SAP is still in high demand...but for those who have 7-10 years of experience in international companies.....It is not good for those who take 2-3 months of training and call themselves SAP consultant. It is waste of money to do such trainings. Believe me....I have experienced it.
