Hi X-Rader, You can definitely apply for PSW and get a two year visa because I did exactly that. I had a student visa from 2003 - 2006; I applied for IGS in May 2006 and was granted till June 2007. I then went back to student visa till January 2009 but I completed my course by October 2008 when I th...

One thing you can do is this: Go to your partner's bank and make the account a joint account with your name on it. Then after getting all that setup, do an internet printout for the last three months (or periods in question); your name will automatically be on the statement. Then go back to the bank...

Go to the UKBA site and fill the form
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... g/initial/

You'll also see a section for dependants and find the form for your wife there. You'll need to consent in your wife's form that she can be included in your application.

Yes your application will be deemed as valid. I know someone who applied in June 09 with a visa expiring in Mar 2010 and got the visa in two weeks. You only need to be concerned about your documents and maintenance fund requirements.

shah you got your facts wrong. Instead of rushing to accuse people you don't know their condition, get your facts right before running your mouth or in this case rushing to type. There has always been a maintenance fund requirement, it was just relaxed before Oct 31 in which case you only had to pro...
