HO possibly does some verification checks. If he request for his passport before the decesion is made then his application will be considered as withdrawn (not rejected). Given that he has already waited for so long it may be better to wait until the decesion is being made.

Tier 1 (General) and Tier 1 (PSW) are two different immigration categories. This said, if you qualify for Tier 1 (General) you may make an in-country application before the category closes permanently in 2011. regards I see. So the PSW is still there in june 2011 when i graduate! Cool. Thank you ye...

you need to report to police any change of your visa status. once you receive your psw visa you just need to go to police with your existing police certificate. they will make a note on it. while you are waiting you dont need to take any action, as i also assume your existing certificate with UKBA n...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 1(Need Help)

But i have studied the policy guideliness before upgradation that students on full time study can show the earnings of 12 prior to the commencement of their education Thanks Srinivas New guidelines don't allow you to claim points for earnings made before study. You can switch from tier 1 PSW to tier 4.

As soon as your your course is more than 15 hours a week and you and your educational provider satisfy all the other requirements assigned to tier 4 visa, you will be able to switch without complications.

Why not to introduce even higher-band fee, something like a super premium fee, where you don't have to hunt for places months in advance and which would guarantee same day service for straight-forawrd applications. They already did that - for "just" £5000 (or something in that region) th...

I'm not sure if the rise in fees is going to affect immigration inflows much. Moreover, i personally don't mind high fees as soon as UKBA provide fast and good quality service. Unfortunately, the real situation is that UKBA is rising fees and not improving its service. I'm referring to the in-country...

"Embassy overseas, Moscow"?

Thank you!
