it doesnt matter. there is no requirements to keep the address on the bank statements and payslips updated for visa purposes.

Not compulsory, but common sence suugests you do. Royal Mail Special Delivery is one of the most secure mehods of posting moreover you can note for yourself a tracking number and can always track the parcel once it will be dispatched to you from UKBA:)
