Apology.. yes.. it should be 05/02/2015.. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=102549 if you see the example.. most of the people applied before 28 days got the expiry date inline with the initial expiry date. Ok, I can see that, those cases are exceptions to the rule, authorised by cas...

Re: A long wait...

We haven't heard any news since we did the Biometric enrollment. We have already waited for the documents return more than 3.5months. after all there is a freedom of speech in this country so we should respect whatever has said by whoever. I absolutely agree with you, but some common sence should be applied in what one says. Statements like: "my wife got visa in 20 mnts so millions of others who wait for decades should be ig...

Sorry but comment such as there make me very angry. If you make the same suggestion in any of your own countries you would at best be locked up or maybe something even worse. The UKBA is slow and massively overworked, because they attempt to HELP many thousand of people to come to the UK for a life...

Invalid applications are indeed common problem and are causing difficulties and waste of time for both applicant and UKBA. Recent cases shows that where applicant claims application was validly made and he attached the photographs, the law will side the applicant. Please see the similiar case for de...

Hello, I read lots of things from this forum and from UKBA's web site. I haven't understood what this 'economically active' means? I got confused. According to "Guidance – ILR – calculating continuous period in the UK – v7.0" (updated on 23 January 2013) http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/...

OP, I think you panic unnessecarily. YOu have to stick to the rules in place in order to extend Tier 1/ apply for ILR. The current rules are that you need to achieve certain income levels in any 12 month period out of 15 month. The ppreiod of earnings can be less than 12 months as soon as you achiev...

They can request the bank to give confirmation on the transactions. however, they do it only in case HO decided to undertake verification or other checks. If they don't have reasons, no checks may be made.
