You can appeal and win as long as you had another account which has £800, for each and every day for the same 3 month period before you last application. And from what you have said, you have the money in your savings account. Good! So you can can appeal on the grounds that you are actually in poss...

You are calculating points for something that is 2 years away. Things might be quite different by then, who knows? Keep trying to improve yourself always... and keep abreast of new rules that's all I can say.

Please don't quote me on this one, but I am sure some people have made out of time applcations after their cases went to the high court and they got their visas. Have a look around on the site. This might be an option. All the best!

There is only one person (that I know of) who has won without having another bank account to make up the shortfall of the three months. You can check "selvyn's post". He said he was able to appeal and win because he had an over draft of £1000.00. Honestly, most people who don't have anoth...

Thank you Jesus! After waiting 5 months....

Oh I am just praising! I have crossed one more hurdle. I finally got my determination letter and my appeal was allowed. Thank God. I know prayer works. I asked God to get a decision this week, this week and I got thru. I am so blessed. Now I have two options: 1. Wait for my call in letter 2. Go for ...

appeal pending ..make a tier 2 applicaiton in the interim?

Hello again, Thank you for any advice you could offer. I am currently awaiting the outcome of my appeal, after I was refused the PSW visa (transitional from IGS) because of a drop in maintenance of funds. The pending appeal is now in its 5th month however I do believe that the end is in sight becaus...

If you add your name to your parents account, it will stand from the date you added it and thereafter, NOT before. Also can you give the exact dates thaty have funds for. Since you are applying at the end of october ,and you already for 2 full months £800.00, it seems that you could get another mon...

The way these cases are handled confuses me. I was rejected on maintenance as well and soon after the appeal was submitted, I submitted a fresh application with my account balance well above £800. It was returned as invalid and the HO fee refuned. A letter was attached stating that I couldnt submit...

Sorry to hear about your dismissal. I can't understand why if you provided an account showing that you had more than the amount needed during the same period.
Was there a reason given in your determination letter? Is it because your Indian account was a fixed deposit account?

Thanks for your advice vinata. I guess it's better to know for sure when the appeal will be than to wait in limbo. I will call up the AIT to find out about the process.

Cheers

Appeal STRESS

I have been waiting for some time now for some sort of decision from AIT. I am doing a paper hearing and called up AIT today and was told I have to wait until a judge becomes available and the process could take 6-8 months. I can't tell you how discouraging that was to hear that. Does anyone have an...

Sorry to hear that you were dismissed. Also try not to worry, be positive. You received a letter from a case worker at the HO asking you to resend your application. I think this letter should make you feel confident. You were asked to resend it again. I don't think this is a 'normal' out of time app...

You can also try the Belgian embassy. It normally takes 48 hours minimum, but it depends on what country you are from. Check out the link. http://www.vfs-be-uk.com/application.aspx 1.You have to submit your itinerary, but if for example you use the Belgian embassy they would expect you to spend most...

When I mentioned your options, I should have clarified. You can only apply for tier 1 gen or any other options that you may qualify for, from your home country since I assume your currentl leave has expired- again ...providing your meet ukba's requirements.

Just checked your first post. If you are an IGS holder you can't apply for a PSW extension from your home country.

As for options, you may want to think about other categories perhaps Tier 1 general, use the points based calculator to see if you get the, required points.
