Update My wife went to Islamabad and all documents were scanned and original docs were given back to her. My wife thinks that the staff has scanned one side of a double side bank statements and tenancy agreement. I am sure, ECO will need to contact us if thus is the case as vfs staff has scanned doc...

Both are correct, the top one give you the option for submitting copy of original docs

Clearly it has been removed from gov.uk website but the checklist at end of application demands it. So for peace of mind I send it.

Thank you.

Thats what I did, posted my docs vis DHL to Pakistan and expected to arrive on Thursday before Friday appointment. They will scan it , but I do fear they will miss some docs to scan!!

Yes, appendix 2 was in the checklist, I have filled appendix 2 basically word per word what I have written in online application.

To be honest I tried this all day but assumed they are after making money, so I pay about £13 for them to scan my documents. Lets hope they do not miss any documents!!

Hi All,

Reading on this forum , I can see many people face problems when uploading docs to vfs .

I wondered if this issue has been resolved? Any tips in avoiding any issues while uploading documents please?

Why submit appendix 2 if not required, ECO will still take into consideration appendix 2 while making decision.

Best to avoid it

Hi All,
I noticed on the gov.uk website used to say you must also complete appendix 2 under partner visa, the later is no longer there, does it mean we do not have to fill in appendix 2 anymore?

Plenty of cases has been approved without NOC Letter but as cases are dealt on individual merits so to generalise the outcome of few cases will not be a right approach. I appreciate what are you saying but the fact is the main test in the rule is adequate accommodation that is to say to pass the leg...

According to shelter, 'If you move in on or after 1 February 2016, your landlord must ask you to prove that you have the right to live in the UK and the right to rent.Your landlord could be fined if they don't do right to rent checks.' So before visa it is almost impossible for anybody to prove this...

I get your point, however, how is possible for landlord accepting tenant without check on right to rent and references?
