I have just had my tier 2 visa extended.

Rule States:

you are eligible to apply 3months before the current visa expires. That is the earliest you can apply.

Latest you can apply is a month before your current Visa expires.

By the way, does the employer pay for the Visa or do we do it. I was told off

this time, that I have to pay for it, where as the last time the company did

Query

So you are saying that I can ask my employers to put in 3y on the tier 2 extension COS.

By the way,

We can apply for PR after 2 y cant we?As we are still on the old scheme.

Also how do employer declare that its an extension on the COS, is there an option which they tick on the COS form?

It is still under the same code of practice and both the jobs have same profile in code of practice , but the graduate developer is one who hasnt had previous work experience, thats the only difference....

Hi Ash,
I didnt get Point 1. I have been working for the same employer on Tier 1 visa for 8 months now , but that includes my training as well. I am still not completely trained on every aspect. So six month commercial experience is fulfilled.
Also this is my first job, since I graduated.
