Rule States:

you are eligible to apply 3months before the current visa expires. That is the earliest you can apply.

Latest you can apply is a month before your current Visa expires.

By the way, does the employer pay for the Visa or do we do it. I was told off

this time, that I have to pay for it, where as the last time the company did

pay for it.

My wife is on PSW and she will be moving to tier 2 dependant, as soon as I get my tier2 extended. But since she is doing a visa change, I was told by UKBA, that she would have to do it in from India. So you are saying that I can ask my employers to put in 3y on the tier 2 extension COS.

We can apply for PR after 2 y cant we?As we are still on the old scheme.

Also how do employer declare that its an extension on the COS, is there an option which they tick on the COS form?

I didnt get Point 1. I have been working for the same employer on Tier 1 visa for 8 months now , but that includes my training as well. I am still not completely trained on every aspect. So six month commercial experience is fulfilled.
