Guys,

This link explains the Business Permission requirements. There are some categories excluded, but LTR is not one of them.

How is self-employment different from business permission? I understand that to be self-employed you need to open your company. But the following statement says that if you are not employed by someone and you wish to pursue a business activity you must obtain business permission. “Non-EEA National...

Time frame for the Declaration of Fidelity

Hi Guys,

The next step after your application for naturalisation is approved is to make the declaration of fidelity to the nation.

Is there the time frame within which the declaration must be made?

Can a person not to make the declaration for several years?

Hi Guys,

What Stamp number do you get with LTR?

LTR includes a right of self-employment or business permission, which regular Stamp 4 does not.

Do you know if Stamp 5 that comes with WCATT endorsement includes a right of self-employment or business permission?

Stamp 6 or 5?

Hi Guys, Finally I got my updated card. Before the card was issued, the IO took the fingerprints of all 10 fingers and ran the clearance checks. He said that this is a new procedure that was introduced a couple of weeks ago. Initially he gave me Stamp 6. When I asked, if it should be Stamp 6 or 5, h...

Because you are already in the country. "The initial visa issued to you is valid for a single entry to the State. If you wish to leave the State for a short period of time you must apply, in advance of making any travel arrangements, for a re-entry visa. NOTE: Before a re-entry visa can be issu...

Thanks immigrant123,

WCATT is the permission to remain in the country, Visa is the permission to enter the country.

5 years then.... Well, you can not have it all.

Sorry, I meant WCATT. How can I use it in lieu of the visa when I am outside of Ireland? Our immigration officers accept only Visas (I do not mean plastic, but who knows…) and they check it with the magnifying glass at the airport - literally. Did someone who has WCATT and stamp no 5 renew their I...

If I do not have a valid visa of the destination country I will not be allowed to leave my home country, if I am, for instance, coming back to Ireland from holidays at home. I have to have one.

10 year visa

Hi Guys,

I got the WTAC endorsement which is valid till the expiration of the passport, 9 years in my case.

Do you know if Visa section gives visas for more than 2 years? I would like to get a visa which is valid till the end of my passport as well.

Thanks.

Got my stamped passport today. It took 9 working days all together.

I need to schedule an appointment with our IO now. It seems he works by appointment only, and an appointment has to be booked by phone first. Did not have that before…

I got it as well this morning. I am waiting for the Without Condition as to Time Endorsement at the moment as well. I submitted all passports and the decision should be in 10-15 working days. If I get WTC I will not need LRT as far as I understand. Can I cancel my LRT application? Or can I not to ta...

Hi Guys, I just want to give you an update on the WTC process. I sent my passports to INIS on Monday hoping to receive them back in 4-5 days. However, today I got a letter from INIS confirming the receipt of my documents, and saying that the application process now takes 15 -20 days. So, it seems th...
