Re: ILR Processing

The good part of UKBA is that they are making ever step to strengthen UK workforce by eliminating people who do not deserve to be the part of UK economy. Comments are welcome. MKI Does that include all the drunks and dorsers who won't work and are born here :D The Ukba has a purpose but it does not...

Is the other parent a British citizen? If both are applying for settlement then it may be best just to wait and apply for the child to be registered as a British Citizen in march. If you apply now and both parents are on work permit you would have to apply for ILR for the child first then apply for ...

I thinks you need to liaise with the tax office to ensure that this is cleared up before you apply or else it may definitely affect you application as they do want tax details and may check with the inland revenue. Being gainfully employed is also a bonus to show that you are not just living off the...

I don't get it...What are you talking about applying for naturalisation and your company sponsoring you? It's either y...

I am considering to apply for naturalisation through an immigration consultancy firm. The reason behind this logic is that my company may be willing to sponsor my application if I use this firm they're working with. Comfort is also a consideration. I don't get it...What are you talking about applyi...

Re: Several Questions Re Form AN - Naturalisation.

I didn't find this specific question in the archives, so I am hopeful one of you good folks may be able to clarify some things for me. I am filling in the form AN for my wife to get naturalisation. Most of it seems pretty straightforward, but I have three queries. In section three entitled "Go...

If you can get your passport renewed that would be good as ILR would then be put in your more recent passport when it is granted. All you would need to do is to send all passports which cover the period since entry into the UK along with the renewed passport with the application form for ILR. I don'...
