yes you can, you are not bound by law to do specific work. As long as you pay tax on all your income regardless of whatever you do, You would be fine :wink:

I am in UK under HSMP. Applied on 10th or 11th of August 2009. Got the acknowledgment letter from HO which was dated 13-Aug-2009. do you mean the amount on payslip didn't match the amout on bank statements or is it just a date issue. A salary slip date does not have to be same as the date the money goes in the bank account.

Hi Nida,
If you pay slips aren't printed on company headed paper then ask the accounts dept to Stamp them for you otherwise Home Office will winge about them and might not accept them.
