speak to your MP. I am not sure if his intervention will make any difference but i would get in touch straight away. Find out who your local MP is and you can normally call them in working hours and/or email them explaining your situation.

well as it stands they are taking donkeys years to send biometric letters out. I applied for my wife's FLR(M) on 4 November. Rung them up yesterday to ask where's the biometric letter and they told me it hasn't even been sent yet and that continue to wait.
