Hi there, I am the applicant( applied for FLR(M) inside the UK from Tier 1 work visa). my husband is my sponsor and I asked for my husband passport return on the 14th Jan 2013, because he had to travel abroad for a meeting. UKBA has a specific “return of document request form". The question 3 ...

xiaoma : you applied on 3 days before I sent my wife's FLR(M) away so we cannot be far away. If yours is sorted this month ideally my wife's should be as well. When you asked for the ROD, did you explicitly say that you do not want to withdraw application ? Also, once you ask for ROD, have you just ...

thats strange. They should be considering the application on the basis of old rules as it was submitted then. Is that the reason of the rejection. I chose to take my wife through A1 Spouse Test which was very basic. The certification just gives the band A1 on it with nothing else on it. I will try t...

speak to your MP. I am not sure if his intervention will make any difference but i would get in touch straight away. Find out who your local MP is and you can normally call them in working hours and/or email them explaining your situation.

i take it you are talking about FLR(M) for you wife.

In that case, she had to have A1 Spouse Test passed or a relevant degree to prove that. Can you confirm she did so ?

i would attach put a message on that word document explicitly saying that you don't want to withdraw the application. I would assume it should work as your wife has already given biometrics. i take it you have passport and biometric card so please post back once you receive you docs to see which doc...

people need to understand, Nikkah is the marriage under Islamic law. When there is a Nikkah between a man and a wife, you sign legal documents, 4 of them 1 for married couple, one for registry, one goes to Masjid and one goes to council so it gets registered. @ Batleykhan : by not registering, do yo...

will be tempted to know about that.

But in the word document which you need to fill, the 3rd field ask "Do you want to withdraw your application". I assume you need to put NO there but i do not know what are the consequences.

have you given Biometrics yet ?

well as it stands they are taking donkeys years to send biometric letters out. I applied for my wife's FLR(M) on 4 November. Rung them up yesterday to ask where's the biometric letter and they told me it hasn't even been sent yet and that continue to wait.

not what you would want to hear but if she is going out trying with another man, how can you sit and let her and then come back to you. if you are only wanting ILR then I would wait, be very nice to her until you get your ILR and once you have ILR, just tell her to **** ***. Honestly speaking, i wou...

Re: FLR(M) Biometrics

we are wanting to book flights for holidays in next 3 months. Its looking quite dim at the moment. What a joke ? Only to warn you even before you think of booking a holiday. The current waiting time is atleast 6 months from bio-metric submission date (Apparently) . If sources are to be believed the...
