You can certainly book your ILR appointment and FLR(M) for later on same day which would be a good way to get it done. I got my ILR and then have posted my wife's FLR(M) last month as I wanted to save some money plus we do not have immediate travel plans. They have sent us acknowledgment back plus d...

yes your friend is right. once you have your ILR then use form MN1 and register the baby as the british citizen and apply passport after you receive registration certificate.

re-second question, i do not think it will cause any issue as no court was involved and its an FPN.

Good luck.

on another note, it would be interesting to see what do they do in such a case where one partner is british and the spouse don't meet financial requirement. I do not think that they will refuse the settlement or a visa as I know of a family case where a british settlement husband divorced his wife (...

Student exemption isn't a benefit. I used to do that when I was a student and successfully got ILR so shouldn't be an issue. Same goes if you are living on your own and claiming SPD which isn't a benefit either.

if you are british then you can claim CB and/or other benefits , cannot see any issue with your partner being an overstayer.

Was you claiming WTC for youself. Whats your visa status. If there are no restrictions then i cannot see any reason why they have done that.

you need to seek advice from Citizens Advice Bureau or some experienced accountant/lawyer etc

if you have ILR or a national of the UK then it won't affect her application. For the purpose of benefits such as working tax credits, the status of the settled person is taken into account

if you had them and you know about it then you should declare it. what happens if you don't declare them and they find out. that will be an issue then.

if they have ILR, and in the UK, they should be entitled to some kind of support. You need to speak to CAB bureau or a specialist for the advice. good luck
