Please can I get an advice as regards a situation. Do have a Criminal conviction (Common Assault) . I was given a community sentence;probation. the event happened a year ago. Please can I still be eligble for free travel as a Briton? Do I require a visa? Please can someone help? Really need to know...

Thanx. The issue is that the wife becomes eligble next year for ILR based on 10years stay in the UK. Her WP expires in 2011 and thats the visa the hubby is attached to?
