Re: VISIT VISA Refusal - Girlfriend (PAP or Re-apply)

So thought I'd update this thread of the. outcome of this case... 1. I submitted PAP to the home office on 27 September 2020 2. Received response from HO to say to give them 3 months to reconsider 3. On 07/01/2022, HO overturn refusal and asked for resubmission of passport. *** Correction - PAP was...

Re: VISIT VISA Refusal - Girlfriend (PAP or Re-apply)

Well done KKD, good for you. What approach did you take with the PAP? What was your argument? Hi THO, so basically i highlighted the fact that 1. ECO failed to take account of the quarterly bonus in their calculation 2. Information regarding the quarterly bonus was mentioned in the other informatio...

Re: VISIT VISA Refusal - Girlfriend (PAP or Re-apply)

congrats KKD. so what is the process for PAP, is it just filing a form or you need to send letters as well? Yes, you complete a Pre-Action Protocol form with required information and your argument, self explanatory really. What i added to my PAP form was copy of the application form, applicant's ba...

Re: VISIT VISA Refusal - Girlfriend (PAP or Re-apply)

If you go the PAP route, it will take some time, 12 weeks I think is minimum if you get your case reviewed and turned over by the pre trial team, but you will need to prove your case 100%. Also, my OH tried to visit me a few years ago (now here and we are married), and she was in a much better fina...

VISIT VISA Refusal - Girlfriend (PAP or Re-apply)

Hi all, So my girlfriend's visa got refused for reasons on the attached file which i think the decision was a bit harsh and were not justified. 1. In her application, we had stated she earns £300.27 monthly but on the other information section of the application form we further explained she is in r...

Re: New AN Form

i certainly fill those fields but I cannot understand why someone thinks that UKVI is the almighty correct and can do anything? Being forced to do something irrational is different from saying something is fine and reasonable. UKVI can check all these information, you can see many issues regarding ...

Re: French National wants to become BC

... Final question though, if such is the case can she then go ahead with the BC application, obviously after LIUK and engine language test. Thanks EEA nationals who are not married to a British spouse need to have been free of immigration time restrictions for at least 12-months. For EEA, this is ...

Re: French National wants to become BC

She probably attained PR after living continuously with her father in the UK for 5 years, as a family member of a PR holder. See also Become a British citizen . Many thanks for this Vinny, I will do further enquiries and advise her appropriate, I was thinking she might need to apply for a PR in her...

Re: French National wants to become BC

Why dont you let her investigate herself. You dont seem to have idea. So if someone tells you something, you will understand something else, and tell her something totally different, and she might understand something uttery different. Seriously do you think I'm retarded or what? I appreciat...

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

a. Firstly, Employment is not a requirement for Natuaralisation - HO has not made employment mandatory for naturalisation anyway b. If we think that they are going to enquire about my character : they are not taking my consent to do a reference check with ex-employers ... HO already has all the per...

seriously folks? isn't our freedom of speech the last dignity we have left? the moment you start altering your words and behaviour based on assumption of government survelliance, you end up in the USSR of my childhood -- which wasn't I must say even that bad, but clearly we are all here because we ...

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

HO is some kind of a CSI or FBI or MI5 organisation You are getting close  oh please i am not getting close, it's a fact they aint. It even takes a police a hell of a time to catch certain criminals. Don't get me wrong but its the perception we have of HO office which was why i brought this on...

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

I have been following this quietly and thought I would add to. for a second can we all stop assuming HO is some kind of a CSI or FBI or MI5 organisation and have a magic button they can push then voila they can see from when a person was born, I think my mom probably has the magic wand to that. If t...
