Re: Guys - Did anyone got Citizenship Approvals so far...

Mr. Integrated is upset at pakistan11's apparent flaunting his otherness. Flaunting otherness is a threat to Mr Integrated because it brings up a possibility of his own exposure. The threat is purely neurotic, given that otherness isn't something that can rub on via TCP/IP. ( Ah, my language has fai...

hi guys cool down . Good point, we need to be mindful of each other's mental states. Almost everyone who reads this thread does so because a bad luck with documents made it impossible for us to fully participate in the society. It's amusing how little physical space airports take in this world, and...

Guys, I have got a very contradictory reply from the citizenship division about the ceremony: And you, CalvinKlien , which email did you use? If both newmember13 and CalvinKlien wrote to the same email address, it may be that they talked to different clerks with a different attitude to discussing t...

Re: Next Citizenship Ceremony on 20th January 2014

I've mailed the photographs and waiting for the ceremony, but I can not find an email that can be used for for citizenship queries, only the phone number listed here: http://www.inis.gov.ie...

Not-EU spouse and Irish citizen moving country - employment

Hi All, Apologies if I have missed a similar subject. My spouse (Irish) and I (not-EU) are considering moving from Ireland to France for some time. Because of my profession (IT) it is much easier for me to find work, while for my spouse it might take months (less experience, less demanded profession...

86ti, this is a very good point!
I agree that the wording should be more like "mutual acceptance of residence cards issued by EEA countries.".

Hi ca.funke, I am aware of Ireland's long-living reluctance to implement Shenghen and the reasons behind it. This is why I am trying to address not Ireland's participation in the agreement, but a slightly different issue that EU allows free movement of persons with GNIB cards issued by Ireland regar...

EU Petition//free shenghen travel for residents of ireland

Dear all, I would like to send petition to the European Parliament in order to bring attention to the fact that legal residents of Ireland who hold Irish registration GNIB cards are not able to travel freely within the Shenghen area, unlike legal residents of other EU member states within Shenghen. ...
