Hi friends,

Is tax office reference number is must?

My wife just joined the new job two weeks ago and her reference number is yet not created by her employer.

Can she write her old tax reference number of previous job or leave it blank?

Do I need to first change their name on home country passport (i.e Pakistan in my case) OR I can do this later on? Do they accept different name on passport? Only deedpoll is enough for UKBA?

That's not a problem, you just need to visit your bank to change your address or you can speak to them over phone and they will change the address.

How early referee could fill the reference page?

I have NCS appointment on 22 Oct 2013 and yesterday I went to my child school to get information if I can get the reference. Luckily teacher agreed and filled the reference form on spot.

I just wondering if there is any time limit of how early we can get the reference before NCS appointment?
