Why you are applying for you wife separatly? You could apply with you on same set(o) form Thats because when we book an appointment, its asking "Which service are you applying for?", I am applying for SET(O) and my wife for FLR(M), so in one booking we cannot select both SET(O) and FLR(M)...

whats the reason they gave you for being that late? They told me that its due to printing problem and late shipments but actually i read on news that they don't have enough passport machines in Pakistan, everyday 20000 to 25000 people apply for passport but they can issue only 5000. I think you need to show evidence of finance to maintain & support yourself, have you included that as well?

Otherwise I think it's ok if you have any dependent then you need to include cohabitation docs as well.
