I have heard that people who get their files late from the high comission most probably get their visas and the people who get it early there is alot of chances that their visa is declined...

The changes on 7th of august by the uk border agency saying that they will contact migrants where there are minor omissions or errors in their application... Well the thing is that i have submitted all my documents with my application form all my documents i given were original, however there is a problem and that is i have made a few minor mistakes in filling out my point based appendix application form and i realised it after submitting my application...

i withdrawed my application for the uk student visa about 2 weeks ago but for not the same reason as yours because the visa letter provided by the college was incorrect...i also hated the stamp on my passport but I re-applied for the uk again..However in your case i think you should ask the embassy ...
