Don't overly worry about it mate. As you have already received the confirmation and the application reference number, I am sure you'll be alright.

My mother-in-law is also in similar situation after her visit visa was refused back in April and then appeal was allowed in early November. We've also received the determination but no call letter or phone call so far. My understanding is that after she'll receive a call letter and resubmit her pass...

Well said Fari. Some people just can't resist their weird nature and jump into a discussion without fully understanding the situation. They've got no idea that you simply can't 'go' to the embassy as they are hiding behind Gerry's and that they always reply with a standard "Dear Sir/Madam"...

You've got nothing else to say have you? How could I discriminate against your nationality when I don't even know what nationality you are.

And this was my last reply to your post, as I am going to ignore any of your comments now as you really don't know what you are saying.

I'll leave it to the readers of this thread to judge us as who is discriminating against who as even from the first post you started accusing Pakistanis of being 'bogus students' and 'not attaching required evidence' without asking any details first.

@Meats - No it does't look odd especially when they had 2 other children in Pakistan, in full time education and some one needed to be there for them. You know nothing about these cases and yet you are on a mission to prove all Pakistanis wrong. Please stop jumping in your chair as you are not makin...

Meats - I really don't get what you are trying to prove here...

Did you not read in my message that the Immigration Judge and then the Entry Clearance Manager both agreed later that both the refusals were unjustified?

@Meats - mate you are making a baseless assumption there that Pakistanis don't read guidance notes or don't go through forums to see what they need to attach with their applications. Based on this I think you are not making any sense. So either say something well grounded on this topic or stop criti...

Why do I believe Pakistanis are being discriminated against? In addition to the news story quoted above, here is why: - In April, this year, I applied for my mother-in-law's visit visa so that she could join us for couple of months when we were expecting our second son - BHC rejected her visa sayin...

Home Office's 'Blatant discrimination' against Pakistanis

Pakistanis are more likely to be turned down for visas to visit the UK than any other nationals, figures show. Eye opener figures of visa refusals from Pakistan. This report only mentions family visitors but as you all know there are many more visa refusals in other categories. I suggest we all get...

Hi Rain,

Most of the times Gerry's don't bother to give you call. If the status is changed on their website, you can go and collect your passport.

By the way, it was a quick decision that could mean things are improving now.

I hope it is a success for you.
