As you are already in the UK you don't need to rely on your sponsor's income if you earn enough.

If you are in non salaried employment the £1550 a month does not matter. As long as you have earned an average of £9300 in the 6 months prior to the application you can use category A.

As you are currently in the UK on a valid visa you can use your income if you meet the requirement.

You must submit payslips as well as a letter from your employer for the same reasons your employers are trying to avoid!
