Re: Spouse visa - sponsor interview

Since more and more countries are now sending non-priority applications to the UK for processing there is an increase in man power so to speak, so interviews have become more common.

Re: FLR(M) 7.3A - Income from Salaried Employment

Answer would still be 'Yes' as the question is for applicant and/or sponsor.
Then wherever details of income are required just complete with the income you will be relying on for the application.

Re: Rejected for Spouse Visa! NatWest bank statements!

Glad you got it sorted. LLoyds back in 2013 were happy to print transactions on headed paper and the ECO was happy with just that... for my husband's FLR next year I will be requested paper statements from January just avoid any potential headache.

Re: Applying for spouse visa. Do children need British passp

Yes your child would need a British passport otherwise you would have to evidence that you earn the equivalent approx 22K to cover your spouse and child rather than 18,600 just for your spouse.

Your rudeness is not necessary and by the tone of your reply you seem to be looking for validation for what you believe to be correct rather than assistance based on experience and knowledge of others. Hope Casa or Wanderer can decipher all this - good luck guys.

Re: Job change help

I'm now being told that a job offer or promise of a job offer is only valid if you are moving to the UK. So basically my application will get rejected if I have given notice and plan to start a new job? So it means I either wait until end of October, so that I have a new payslip and apply through C...

Re: Changing Jobs - Short Term Contract

Well how much longer after you plan to apply does your contract end?
It would be good if your employer could state that they are happy to extend the contract once your time in the UK has been extended.

Re: Have met £18600 and claiming housing benefit

You need to have six months of consecutive payslips when you sponsor your spouse. You won't have that which is why I stated Cat B. You won't have to wait any longer - just supply more paper (12 months of documentation rather than 6). Home Office doc has used two types of wording under the Category A...

Re: Confused by form APPENDIX 2 (VAF 4A DECEMBER 2013)

There will be a question about any payments/support you pay for your own children (as the sponsor). As the applicant as no children then you just need to complete re a single person.

Re: Arg, help please! Bank statement vs pay slip 28 days

You must have a bank statement showing the payment for each payslip you are relying on for the application. You will need to wait until your June salary is on the statement or rely on December's pay if you were earning enough then.

Re: category A or B ? i'm confused :(

You can use Cat A and as you are in non salaried employment
you work out your annual income with the following calculation:
Non-salaried income = (gross earnings from employment held throughout the 6 month period, divided by 6) x 12

Re: FLR M - Work history for previous 6 months

That paragraph is regarding Cat A - sections A, B and C are ALL the areas you must cover for employment.
You haven't been with your employer for 6 months according to your first post so the first sentence you highlighted would not be applicable for another month.

Re: FLR M - Work history for previous 6 months

You need to supply 12 months worth of payslips and bank statements for Cat B.
And yes from the wording used a letter is required from whoever issued the payslips.

Re: variable income? cat a? :, (

As you are non salaried Cat A is fine. If your average income in the last 6 months was £9300 you have met the requirement so nothing to worry about.

Re: FLR (M) Six items of correspondence

Correspondence must be from 3 or more different sources I believe and these sources must be government departments such as HMRC NHS and/or banks.
