Since my last batch of questions i have decided to return to complete my degree in 2011. I am currently working for Croydon Council and wish to remain in employment until next September. Personal statement/Letter ... etc

For those of you who have applied for spouse visas ... what was included in your personal statements for the application?

- how you met
- history of the relationship
- intentions once in the UK?

Is there anything else that should be included?
A summary of each section of evidence required?

I married my wife at the end of my second year of university (2003). When I originally applied for a spouse visa from the consulate in China, I had no tenancy agreement at all I was advised by them to have my father apply as her sponsor instead. The visa was approved, so there's no problem doing it...

No i dont have a private income. The money you get as a student all depends on your individual circumstances I get a certain amount being a single parent but there is also funding for students with adult dependants .... they dont make it very clear about what 'non typical' students are entitled to. ...

Re: Finding the evidence ...

Do you have any photos of you both together? Save your msn and facebook chatlogs and those are fine too. Making contact via letters is quite outdated. Most people send proof of emails, phone logs and a few pictures. Yes we have photos and will have many more for the wedding and in general as i will...

I know you are required to submit evidence with the spouse visa but is the list of what would be required available anywhere?
