This is a gray area where no one would make definite comments. If you are employed in your company and paying yourself salary and dividends, and paying class 1 NI contribution, then I would say you can apply as 'Employed'. Self-employment is something else where you register yourself to HMRC in this...

I would say a photo from those booths would be easier and straightforward. The pictures taken there still need to be checked against the photo guidance, of course.

It must be a period of consecutive months. However, you do not have to be employed for the full period. As far as I can see, if you can get points from previous earnings section and the earnings were entirely made in the UK or at least £16000 (check) of earnings is made in the UK, then you can clai...

Seems the letter itself is enough as it is listed as evidence and is not bound to any conditions. However, the letter must contain the required information.

Yes, original certificate of award is enough. Just be sure the calculator assigns 10 points for English language when you choose relevant study.

Try the official UKBA points calculator. If it gives points for any of your studies, then you are fine by just providing your original degree certificate.

If there is a conviction, the guidelines ask you to specify. However, it is you who will choose whether to put any convictions on the form or not. But, if by any way, the caseworker reaches the information that you actually had a conviction which has not been claimed in the application, then they mi...

Can not they write a letter which complies with the guideline, e.g. stating the payment amounts, dates, etc... and is dated, signed and stamped properly where applicable?

And do not forget to provide another type of corroborating evidence (would be bank statements).

Possibly not.

But bear in mind that there is a subjective "person of a good character" concept introduced in the proposed new law for acquiring British citizenship. So, going forward, be careful and be a good man :)

RM will NOT deliver special deliveries on Saturdays as their promise says "working day". For Saturday delivery, the sender must pay a surcharge so you can receive the SD post on a Saturday only if your pre-paid envelope includes this surcharge or in the case that RM delivers as a courtesy.

The amount you paid was for the people who had the confirmation of HSMP participation but have not had the visa stamped on their passport. So, it seems HO is right by invalidating the application. You need to pay £820 (£750 if you are a citizen of three certain countries, or relavant amount if you...

It is not enough whether you already have the money.

You must have had earned that money within 15 months before your application and woulc be able to prove this with your documents.

Say, if you had this amount of money from your employment 6 months ago, then it would not help.

Average processing time is getting less than expected

Considering Trackitt data, it seems the average processing time is currently less than expected. This might be based on individual cases but still means something. I have seen applications approved in 16 days. The most recent application approved was received by HO on 12th October. The UKBA webpage ...

Well, that's risky as they write in the acknowledgement letter that you should not send additional documents unless asked by the case worker.
