Guess again in your case, they will check every balance line shown on your bank statements to verify you have had enough amount of money for the entire period. If there are more than one accounts, they can sum up for each day. But if your balance dips down the threshold (1600+800) even for one day, ...

I have just come across a thread mentioning this website. I do not know if giving the web address here is permitted. I can delete the link if not. You can use that one, it seems a neat website with good tracking information.

Congratulations ~busybee~.

Seems the info on the waiting times section on the UKBA web is out-of-date as they say this week they are considering applications made on or before the 7th.

Also can you spare some time voting for the recent poll for the day HO posts results.

This poll was based on another thread where innocentdevil tells about week days UKBA posts the documents back.

"What week" might be another poll question though.

She has the leave to remain and related rights (including studying) as a Tier 1 dependant. So, you do not need another visa for her.

I have opened my first poll for this :)

But this means we are going nuts by trying to figure out this statistics. Maybe a branch of science should be established called tieroneology or something.

On which week day did HO send your in UK appl. result?

Please vote if you have applied for Tier 1(General) by post within the UK and please select the day on which HO have posted your documents back (not the day you have received them).

Well, RM is a business :).

If you have included a pre-paid envelope, you must have paid the correct fee for Saturday delivery which is more than week day delivery fee.

Otherwise, they send it via recorded delivery anyway.

As far as I know, normally RM delivers the special deliveries on Monday if they are posted on Friday (it is still 1 business day). However, you can request the mail to be delivered on a Saturday if you pay a bit more. Considering UKBA is not open on Saturdays (or is it?) there is no reason to do tha...

Unfortunately you can not. The funds must be in your personal account.

That means even if your company has £9999999999999 in the bank and even if you are the sole shareholder, sole director and sole employee, you are still not eligible on that basis. This is not a joke, by the way.

The acknowledgement letter says not to send additional documents unless asked by a caseworker. That's one of the few things on the acknowledgement letter. I do not know how strict they are about this, though.

As far as I know, it can be on plain paper as long as it has the director(s)'s wet signature. On the other hand, most probably your company accounts are unaudited . That is why, you have to include a letter from your accountant confirming all the profit figures you are entitled, profit loss accounts...

I think it starts as of the visa stamp date. As of that date you have leave to remain under Tier 1 and that supersedes your previous leave under WP.

I remember I read some irregular cases but as far as I know your new visa stamp date will be the day HO approve your Tier 1 application.

You can. But bear in mind that you may need points from the previous earnings section if you require extending your leave to remain. I am saying this as a full time study may prevent you earning much. 50 points from PhD might not be enough to make your points exceed 75. Of course the rules by then m...

What about leaving your self-employed job and making a fresh application claiming only the earnings from your permitted job assuming the amount you can claim with corroborating evidence yields enough points?

Since the payment is processed, do not worry mate. There are cases where people get approvals without receiving the acknowledgement letter.

It might be due to Royal Mail strikes. After the action day the amount of mail becomes huge and guess they can not cope with it. Even they lose some of the mail.
