wife got her passport back today! with visa stamped on 29th September.

Applied 23rd June
Islamabad

they asked her to collect it today but she lives about 5 hours away!!

they do not open on weekend for collection so will go on Monday!

TB expires on the 19th so may have to get that re-done

status changed yesterday and got the call to collect today!!!!

Wife will pick up passport on Monday.

congrats everyone!!! just a quick question, has evreyone who got their visa's back had to renew TB test as i know was794 you applied in June. if not, will you have to renew before travelling or can you have a medical in the UK like you could few years back? i hope to hear back soon applied 23rd June...

thats great news!!!!

The process for resubmitting TB test wasnt too bad as you was called on the 27th and got your passport back after a week. atleast you didnt have to wait too long!

i applied on 23rd June still waiting been approved but no docs back yet

18 weeks now no passport!

revolution, who contacted you and can you get a TB test without passport?

i know your MP has outlined that your visa has been approved as mine too but still no return of passport. i applied on 23rd June

great news, my MP also told me my wifes visa is approved about 2 weeks ago, applied from Islamabad 23rd June.

cant wait for the call now!

Yes he did need a letter which i provided, i emailed him a month ago and there was no information for him to give me, then emailed him again on friday and he came back with the news today.

I hope we get docs back quickly cant wait!!!!!

really sorry to hear that!!! the worst thing is they take so long and still refuse..

what were the reasons they gave for refusal?

good news S4INT, i have applied for the wifes Visa on 23rd of June from Islamabad no news. As your visa was stamped on the 24th of August, how long does your wife have to travel to the UK? I hope to hear something in the next few weeks, as it is now passed the 12 week mark for me. good luck everyone!
