Guys

Is there any requirement of savings or maintenance funds to be shown while applying for PR.I mean savings like instantly accessible cash etc..If we have a house and save and invest in pensions ,share schemes etc does it help or do we need to show a specified amount.

I had applied on 25th sept and my Tier 1 extension was approved on 13th and I received my documents back on the 15th.

what is self sufficiency case?Is it only for that category or anyone under hsmp ,tier 1 etc need to have private medical insurance.My husband is provided bupa insurance by his company but I have always accessed NHS .We were on wok-permit,then hsmp and now tier-1.Does accessing NHS come under public ...

They might not have stamped it bu if you see the date your initial leave expired ,they might have underlined it .Check that in your passport.i had this issue.

Thanks a lot for your valuable input.Does coming as a student dependant even count towards ILR.I thought you need to have been here only on certain categories.

Is there any way of contacting the home office for a list of my entry and exit dates that are on their records.

Came as a dependant in September 2002.Got my WP in March 2005.So eligible for ILR in March 2010 god willing since I can count only from the time I got my WP.

Extension approved

Although my visa expired on 10 Oct 2009 but my new extension is stamped from 13 oct 2009 to 13 oct 2012.Will the gap of three days affect my ILR(PR).I had submitted my application on 25th sept 09 and got confirmation on 28 sept 09.Any advice please.
