as per my understanding if u get ref no and the letter from UKBA it means ur fees is deducted. They only send u ref no. letter after they get confirmation ur fees if deducted. i feel its better to highlight so tht it ll easy for caseworker to find ur salary. So he dnt bother to check other things just pay attention to only ur pay and verify with bank statement.

I bank with Natwest and there is nowhere written as temp statement anywhere. Online statements looks almost like original except it dnt have sort code and home address rest all looks very original.

I dnt knw how far this is true just my guess another way of tracing application wud b also thru HO ref no. Ppl who applied in same week ll have almost similar ref no.

Not to worry its clearly mentioned in main applicant form to put the dependent photos also with main applicant.
SO even i did the same mine and my wife together in 1 envelope.
Ur friends was rejected not coz of photo was kept in main applicant section i thnk coz they were not as per HO guidelines.
