WCATT - help

I applied for WCATT stamp on 29-11-10, still not received my passport. Now I have my wife visa expiring soon. I have LTR up to 2015. My question is, can I renew my wife's visa without having my passport in hand. What happens if I don't renew my wife's visa until I get my passport back from GNIB.

You give legal immigrants a bad name.
