Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

I have received the interview letter after a wait of bit over 6 weeks but now I'm struggling to find any interview date in London. London Victoria has no slots available. Although I managed to get interview appointment in Chelmsford but that is on 8th of Aug. Is there any specific time (or trick) t...

Re: Cut off Date for Applying

I'm going to post the similar question in the same thread, instead of starting a new one, I hope it's fine. My ILR application was approved on 3rd April 2013 and BRP issue date is 4th April 2013. My understanding is that BRP issue date is irrelevant; its the ILR approval date, which matters. So this...

Re: PBS- Recongnise degree but not giving english points

@khan06 in this case you can't use PBS document and I think it doesn't award English points for most of the Pakistani universities. I have read somewhere on the forum that NARIC doesn't give the English assessment letter for Masters degree, and if they could then it would have been on PBS calculator...

Does anyone know if I book NCS appointment for 4th of April, 2014, then I'd need to pay £874 or £906 for naturalisation (form AN)?

ILR required for BC Spouse or not?

Hi All, I just want to know if it is required for the Spouse of British Citizen to be on ILR for last 12 months or not, to be eligible for naturalization? I'm in a tricky situation right now. I'm planning for apply for British naturalisation in April 2014, which means, hopefully, by end of 2014, I'l...

Re: How to apply for PBS dependent with Partner's ILR

@neha_s I had exactly the same situation last year (April 2013) wherre I applied for ILR and my wife for extension as PBS dependant. We booked 2 separate appointments for both of us in the relevant categories at the same date/time at Solihull PEO. On reaching there we informed about our situation to...

ILR for PBS dependant - which form and eligibility?

Hi All, I'm currently on ILR (got it in April 2013 based on 5 years on Tier-1), however my wife is still on a PBS dependant visa and she arrived in UK on March 3, 2012. Following are the few question I have: 1. When can she apply for ILR? My understanding is that she will be eligible to apply from 4...

@fannofler what is the exact date on which your wife arrived in UK? If it is within 28 days of 3rd of Dec (which I strongly suspect is not the case), then she can directly apply for ILR with you otherwise, unfortunately, I think you'll need another extension for few days before she can get ILR too a...

Thanks Mustafa for your reply. Yes, she got the visa in November 2012 and came to UK in Jan 2013. this is cleared that I would have to fill up PBS dependent application for her. However I called UKBA to verify ILR qualifying period for her, I did around 5 or 6 calls just to verify that thing and mo...

Thanks Mustafa Big difference between PBS Dependant Tier 1 and FLR(M) Any major disadvantages of goign for FLR(M) for the wife, She has a UK University Masters degree which should cover English requirements(i hope) and my income is good enough to cover us both. Just like to get some opinions please...
