Unfortunately still in waiting stages, the timelines are as below if it helps.

Case submitted : 11.01.2016 --> Karachi , Pakistan
Case received in Dublin : on 23.03.2016 --> INIS confirmed to me via email
I am expecting an answer on the weekly cycle of ---> 18.05.2016

- Yes getting a travel insurance is a pre-requisite at the time of applying for a tourist visa and it's not based on once the visa is approved to get it then.
