thanks for your quick response john. yes we married in the uk. apparently the problem is she cannot change the name on her passport etc until she registers the marriage in bulgaria. we can do it from the uk but as said previously she seems to think there is a 6 month period to do this. any more info...

if she were to study for a year would she need to apply for a student visa in bulgaria and prove she has funds to support herself etc or could she just come and enrol on a course etc?

just wondering also if they have any grounds to reject her for a blue registration certificate if she is my wife, i mean does anyone know of any case where they have denied the application. i mean if we provide all relevant documents then can they say no?
