Schengen Zone RE-entry via state other than one's residency?

Can someone help me with this question: I would like to know if anyone has ever encountered or heard of problems returning to the Schengen zone via a member state other than where one's residency* is held? * My wife is Moroccan national who is resident in Spain (5yr residents permit as the spouse of...

taiwanluthiers, thank you for your answer however you misunderstand my question. I am aware that travel within the Schengen Zone is fine and I even believe that re-entry into the Schengen Zone where the entry point is a state other than where residency is held should always be fine at that European ...

Schengen Zone reentry via state other than residency

I would like to know if anyone has ever encountered or heard of problems returning to the Schengen zone via a country other than where one's residency* is held? I'm hoping I'm right in expecting the EU territories would recognise & respect the permit on arrival however perhaps more concerned by ...

You can only work in Spain, but can travel within the EU Member states freely, except Ireland and United Kingdom. So, travel only is okay within the Schengen/EFTA area but what about return travel into another member state from outside the Schengen area? Can a Spanish EEA residence permit holder fly...

Thank you for your concise and very informative sentence! It seems much better to try and obtain the KOL pass before applying. Hefty fees aside (which could be better invested on that short-stay trip), I think it makes sense to enter 'unconditionally'.

Thanks again.

4+yrs married & living overseas - ILE and KOL

I'm looking a little ahead, less than a year, by which time my wife & I will have been married for four years. We were married overseas and have lived together ever since & always overseas. I often think it's time to get back to Europe - for some time I thought it would be simpler to move to...

I have only just found this thread and was about to offer my 2-bits to you about the recognition of marriage document required by the Spanish but your story has already reached this poi...

Indeed. That led me to the post on the report on how Directive 2004/38/EC is being implemented. Interesting reading - like 3.4.1 states that Estonia and Spain do not even require proofs of accommodation and sustainability, just proof of citizenship, wow, there's me thinking spain was difficult. Link...
