Apart from all your previous passports and life in the UK test pass letter you will also need to provide all the previous letters from the HO that came along with your work permits/HSMP and ILR.

I agree with f2k. You only become a British Citizen the day you complete the citizenship ceremony. An approval from the HO based on your application only makes you eligible to complete the BC process but the process is only regarded as complete once the citizenship ceremony is done. I don't think your uncle will have any issue. I know someone who basically lived at a friends place for 6 months while he was searching for a job (was on an HSMP at the time) and he didn't have any issues getting his BC earlier this year.

Hi Tango Orange you should be able to get the registrar's office number for your local council online. Call them and ask to be transferred to the nationality checking service. Hope this helps.
