Absence in last 12 months

I want to know if UKBA can WAIVE absences over 100 days if geniun reasons is/are given..

Is there anyone who has experienced this kind of situation and if yes what were the findings and results.

Million thanks to God. I have got the ILR today from postoffice. It is stamped on Nov 16, 2009. The letter with it says my ILR starts from June 2009. Timelines Applied on 25 Sep HO Rec 26 Sep Payment gone - 2 Oct. Just received a SORRY WE MISSED YOU slip from ROYAL MAIL saying that there was a special delivery envelop for you which required signature... Fingers crossed, this might be passports from UKBA..will update tomorrow. All the best.. MKI
