Dependent is a migrant from India.

Dependent is wife of the main Tier1 person.

Main person is finishing 5 years and applying for ILR.

Dependent is short of 2 years to apply for ILR along with the main person.

Hi,

Is the switching not possible within the country under this circumstances?

Or in other words: does the dependent has to leave the country and get the entry clearance again as a dependent of a settled person?

Any advice please?

HI I had the Same Issue Couple of weeks Back. I have called up UKBA and Confirmed the same(around 45 mins waited on queue) I would suggest you to ring them for confirmation. Regards Thank you. I got the confirmation. I managed to speak them after being on line for 30 minutes or so. Thanks again.

It means your appointment is booked. Your account will never get updated. If you call the 0870 number they will confirm your appointment. I strongly suggest you do that. Thank you longshift.
